Design, Cultivated

Hi, I’m Jennifer, ~ the creator behind The Salty Stitchery Studio.

For more than 20 years, needlepoint has remained a constant creative thread throughout my life. What began as a love for stitching gradually evolved into a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, thoughtful finishing, and the artistry found in handmade work.

Before entering the world of needlepoint finishing and instruction, I spent over two decades working professionally in photography and more than a decade in education - experiences that continue to shape every aspect of my work today. From composition and color to texture and detail, my creative background has cultivated an intentional eye and a strong appreciation for timeless design.

At The Salty Stitchery Studio, I believe finishing should honor the artistry and effort behind every stitched canvas. Whether teaching beginners through local needlepoint shop partnerships or thoughtfully completing heirloom-quality finishes, my goal is always the same: to create meaningful stitching experiences rooted in craftsmanship, creativity, and connection.
